So, Jesus stopped and said, "Call that man [to me]." Then the crowd called the blind man, saying to him, "Cheer up, Jesus is calling you." So, he threw off his robe, jumped up, and [immediately] went to Jesus. Jesus said to him, "What do you want me to do for you?" And the blind man answered, "Rabboni [i.e., Teacher], I want to have my sight restored." And Jesus said to him, "Go on your way, your faith [in me] has made you well." And immediately his sight was restored, and he began following Jesus along the road.

Just then, two blind men sitting along side of the road heard that Jesus was passing by that way. [So], they shouted out, "Lord, take pity on us, son of David." The crowd spoke harshly to them, telling them to be quiet, but they shouted all the more, "Lord, have pity on us, son of David." Then Jesus stopped, and calling to them, said, "What do you want me to do for you?" read more.
They answered, "Lord, we want to have our sight back." Jesus felt deep pity for them, so He touched their eyes and immediately their sight was restored, and they became [His] followers.
