the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured in the cup of his wrath. And he shall be punished in fire and brimstone, before the holy angels, and before the lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up evermore. And they have no rest day nor night, which worship the beast, and his image, and whosoever receiveth the print of his name."

And being in hell, in torments, he lift up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom; And he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.' Beyond all this, between you and us there is a great space set, so that they which would go from hence to you, cannot: neither may come from thence to us.' Then he said, 'I pray thee therefore father, send him to my father's house. For I have five brethren: for to warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.'
