but Peter stood at the door without. Then the other disciple who was known to the chief priest went out and spoke to the door-keeper, and brought in Peter. Then the female servant, the door-keeper, said to Peter, Are you also one of the disciples of this man? He said, I am not.
But Peter sat without in the court; and a female servant came to him, saying, You also were with Jesus the Galilean.
And knocking at the door of the gate, a female servant, called Rhoda, came to listen, and knowing the voice of Peter she did not open the gate from joy, but ran in and told that Peter stood before the gate.
