And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil, hates the light, and comes not to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he that does the truth, comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest that they are done in God.
But all these works, when reproved, are made manifest by the light: for every thing that makes manifest is light. Wherefore, the scripture says: Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.
