Thematic Bible: What manifests things

and this is the subject of their condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. for every one that doth evil, hateth the light, and shunneth the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. but he that doth right, cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, because they are agreeable to the will of God.

but whatever is unjustifiable will be brought to light: and that will show them to be unjustifiable. wherefore 'tis said, " awake thou that sleepest, arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."
