Thematic Bible: What shall be tried

The Day will disclose it, for it dawns in fire, and the fire will test each man's work, of what quality it is. If any man's work??he building he has made??tands the test, he will be rewarded. If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, as it were through the flames.

Write also to the angel of the Church in Philadelphia. These things says He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens, and no one shall shut; and who shuts, and no one opens. I know your works. Lo, I have set before you an open door, which none can shut; for though you have only a little strength, you have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
