Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.
Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear dull, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart; they have revolted and gone away. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season: he reserves unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good things from you.
