So then you are no longer strangers and aliens. You are fellow citizens with the holy ones and of the household of God. You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Christ Jesus is the chief corner stone.

The prophets, who came before you, were also persecuted. You are the salt of the earth. If its taste goes away, how will you restore it? It is good for nothing. All you can do is throw it on the ground and walk on it. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill may be seen by all. A light is not placed under a cover. To the contrary, it is placed on a table so all may see. Likewise, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

While Jesus was yet speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers stood nearby. They wanted to speak to him. Someone told Jesus: Look, your mother and your brothers stand nearby seeking to speak to you. But he answered: Who is my mother? Who are my brothers? read more.
