And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew, he predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren: and those whom he predestinated he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

For David, after serving the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep, and was laid with his fathers, and saw corruption. But he whom God raised up did not see corruption. Be it known to you, therefore, brethren, that through this man is preached to you the remission of sins: and by him, every one that believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
