They that were foolish, taking their lamps, took not oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and he began to be in want.

And he said also to his disciples, There was a certain rich man who had a steward: and he was accused to him as wasting his goods.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break thro' and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break thro' nor steal.
