11 Bible Verses about Apologizing

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that thy brother has something against thee; leave thy gift there before the altar, and go; first restore friendship with thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Then Paul said, I did not know, brethren, that he was the prince of the priests, for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out in secret? no indeed; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another that ye may be whole. The effectual prayer of the righteous is very powerful.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother should trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

Be ye angry and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath,

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him. And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying, So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren and their sin, for they did unto thee evil; and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the slaves of the God of thy father. And his brethren also went and fell down before his face, and they said, Behold, we are thy slaves. And Joseph said unto them, Fear not; for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God thought it out unto good, to bring to pass that which we see this day, to give life to many people. Now therefore fear ye not; I will nourish you and your little ones. Thus he comforted them and spoke to their heart.

Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times, but, Until seventy times seven.
