And he called to him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they might cast them out, and care every disease and every infirmity.

And these signs shall attend those who believe. In my name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

And he called his twelve disciples to him, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure dis eases: and he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them: The kingdom of God has come near to you.

And the seventy returned with joy, and said: Lord, even the demons are subject to us through thy name.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And fear came on every soul; and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

And many signs and wonders were done among the people by the hands of the apostles; (and they were all with one con sent in Solomon's porch. And no one of the rest durst join himself to them; but the people magnified them. And believers in the Lord were more and more added to them, multitudes both of men and women;)read more.
so that they brought the sick out along the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that even the shadow of Peter, as he passed along, might fall on some of them. And many people of the cities round about came to Jerusalem, bringing the sick, and those who were troubled by evil spirits, all of whom were cured.

I thank God that I speak in tongues more than you all.

Truly, the signs of an apostle were worked among you in all patience, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.
