Having therefore, brethren, free admission into the holy places by the blood of Jesus,

but Jesus said, Suffer the children to come to me, and do not hinder them: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Now there was a certain person sick, to wit, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and Martha her sister. And Jesus stopt, and ordered him to be called: so they called the blind man, and said to him, Be of good courage, rise up, He calleth thee. And he threw off his outer garment, and arose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus said to him, What dost thou desire that I should do for thee? And the blind man said to Him, Lord, that I may recover my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way, thy faith has cured thee. And he immediately recovered his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Whence neither was the first covenant entered into without blood:

a bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax he will not extinguish, till He send forth judgement victorious.
