And they to you the cities for refuge from the nearest relative; and the slayer shall not die till his standing before the assembly for judgment, And the cities which ye shall give, six cities of refuge shall be to you. Then the captain of a thousand, having drawn near, took him, and commanded to be bound with two chains; and inquired who he might be, and what he had done.

And the whole city was moved, and there was a concourse of the people: and having taken up Paul, they drew him out of the temple: and quickly the doors were shut.

He asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, so that if he find certain men being of the way, and also women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
