But when they deliver you up, be not anxious as to how or What ye shall speak; for it will be given you in that hour what ye shall speak.

So the band and the captain, and the officers of the Jews, took Jesus and bound him,

And when we had come to Rome, Paul was permitted to dwell by himself, with the soldier that guarded him.

The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees, who said to them, Why did ye not bring him? The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.

But Saul ravaged the church, entering house after house, and dragging both men and women, committed them to prison.

And having taken security of Jason and of the others, they let them go.

And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. Then the chief captain came near and laid hold of him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and inquired who he was, and what he had done.

When Jesus had thus spoken, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father! the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee;

And they who seized Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the highpriest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

and asked of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any who were of this way of belief, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
