The armies of heaven, wearing pure white linen, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth shot a sharp sword, so that He could smite the nations with it. The rest were killed with the sword that shot from the mouth of the horse's Rider, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

They brought the donkey and the colt and laid their coats upon them, and Jesus took His seat on them. And most of the crowd spread their coats along the road, but some were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them along the road. And the crowds that went in front of Him and followed Him shouted: "Welcome the Son of David! Blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lord; Welcome Him from on high!"

They brought the colt to Jesus, and they threw their coats over it, and Jesus mounted it. took palm branches and went out to meet Him, and kept on shouting: "Blessings on Him! Blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lord; Blessings on the King of Israel!" Then Jesus found a young donkey and mounted it, doing as the Scripture says: "Cease from fearing, Daughter of Zion; See, your King is coming mounted on an ass's colt!"
