Thanks be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who ever comforts me in all my troubles, so that I may be continually able to comfort those who are in any trouble by the comfort with which God is ever comforting me.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."

Then when Jesus saw her sobbing, and the Jews likewise who accompanied her, sobbing, he shuddered with indignation in his spirit, and was deeply agitated.
