For the Lord of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?”

And making it bear and sprout,
And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;

Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
“The anger of the Lord will not turn back
Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart;
In the last days you will clearly understand it.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Long ago I did it,
From ancient times I planned it.
Now I have brought it to pass,
That you should turn fortified cities into ruinous heaps.

For I am a father to Israel,
And Ephraim is My firstborn.”
For thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.read more.

There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. Because of the tender mercy of our God,

I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
