And the LORD said unto Noah, Come you and all your house into the ark; for you have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with tar and with pitch, and put the child in it; and she laid it among the reeds by the river's bank.
But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid its fare, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and asked him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
The day following, when the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one into which his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone; (However there came other boats from Tiberias near unto the place where they did eat bread, after the Lord had given thanks:)
And as the sailors were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under pretense as though they would have cast anchors out of the bow,
And there went over a ferryboat to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;
Simon Peter said unto them, I am going fishing. They said unto him, We also will go with you. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

That sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, you swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth of skin, to a people feared from their beginning until now; a nation powerful and treading down, whose land the rivers divide!
And going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
And immediately he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.
And he spoke to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
And immediately he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.
Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
And he sent away the multitude, and embarked in the ship, and came into the region of Magdala.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him just as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the demon asked him that he might be with him.
And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, many people gathered unto him: and he was near unto the sea.
And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.
Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned.
And when they came into the ship, the wind ceased.
And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were much amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.
And immediately Jesus made his disciples get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
And immediately he made his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.
And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
When Jesus heard of it, he departed from there by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
The day following, when the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one into which his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
And when he came out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
And when evening was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he was alone on the land.
And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
And running under a certain island which is called Cauda, we had much work to secure the boat:
