And I saw a great white throne, and One who sat thereon; from his presence fled earth and sky, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne; and books were opened, and another book??he Book of Life??as opened; and the dead were judged according to their deeds, by what was written in the books.

And I went to the angel and told him to give me the little book. And he said to me. "Take it, and eat it up; it will make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey." I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up, and it was in my mouth sweet like honey; but when I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter.
