This is my commandment: That you love one another, as I have loved you.

And he went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine; and he put him on his own beast, and carried him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him: Take care of him; and whatever you spend more, on my return, I will repay you.

Therefore watch, remembering that for three years, by day and by night, I ceased not to warn every one of you with tears.
