Timothy, keep that which is committed to your charge, avoiding those profane and empty babblings, and disputations about knowledge falsely so called;
Husbands, love your wives, as the Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it,
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
And if any one provides not for his own, and especially for those of his own house hold, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
But I say to you, That for every idle word which men speak, they shall give account in the day of judgment.
Be anxious about nothing, but in every thing, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God:

He that received seed among the thorns, is he that hears the word; and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
And these are they that received seed among thorns; who hear the word, and the anxieties of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
That which fell among thorns are those who hear, and so conduct them selves, that they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
But Martha made herself busy with much serving; and she came to him, and said: Lord, dost thou not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Bid her, therefore, that she help me. But Jesus answered and said to her: Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things: one thing is needful; and Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken from her.
And take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts become heavy with reveling and drunkenness and the cares of life, and that day come upon you when you look not for it.
But I would have you to be without anxiety. The unmarried man is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord: but he that is married, is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife. There is a difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman is concerned about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy in body and in spirit; but she that is married, is concerned about the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
Cast all your cares on him, for he cares for you.
Come to me, all you that are weary, and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.
When they bring you to the synagogues, and to rulers and authorities, be not anxious how or what you shall answer, or what you shall say; for the Holy Spirit shall teach you in that hour what you ought to say.
Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God; believe also in me.
