And when they had come out of the boat, the people immediately knowing who he was, ran through all that region, and began to carry about on beds those that were sick to the place where they heard he was.

These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Then Paul, after the governor had beckoned to him to speak, answered, Since I know that thou hast been for many years a judge for this nation, I answer for myself cheerfully;

Each one, as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise.

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer; for I believe God, that it will be just as it hath been told me.

Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took food.
