So then, whenever we have the opportunity, let's practice doing good to everyone, especially to the family of faith.
"When a fellow Hebrew male or female slave is sold to you and serves you for six years, then in the seventh year you are to set them free. After the Sabbath ends, each of you should set aside and save something from your surplus in proportion to what you have, so that no collections will have to be made when I arrive.
In every way you will grow richer and become even more generous, and this will cause others to give thanks to God because of us, since this ministry you render is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, it is also overflowing with more and more prayers of thanksgiving to God. Because your service in giving proves your love, you will be glorifying God as you obey what your confession of the Messiah's gospel demands, since you are generous in sharing with them and with everyone else.
