8 Bible Verses about Children, With Jesus

After that some little children were brought to Him, for Him to lay His hands on them and pray for them, but His disciples reproved those who brought them. But Jesus said, "Let the little children alone, and stop preventing them from coming to me, for to such as these the kingdom of heaven belongs."

And people were bringing little children to Him for Him to touch them, but the disciples reproved them for it. When Jesus saw it, He was indignant, and said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them from it, for to such as these the kingdom of God belongs. I solemnly say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a little child does, will never get into it at all."read more.
Then He took the little children into His arms, and as He laid His hands upon them one by one, He tenderly blessed them.

Now some people were bringing even their babies to Him to have Him touch them, but the disciples, when they saw it, reproved them for it. But Jesus called them to Him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and stop preventing them from it, for to such as these the kingdom of God belongs. I solemnly say to you, Whoever does not accept the kingdom of God as a little child does, will never get into it at all."

And He called a little child to Him, and had him stand in the midst of them, and said: "I solemnly say to you, unless you turn and become like little children, you can never get into the kingdom of heaven at all. So then, whoever becomes as lowly as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven,read more.
and whoever welcomes one little child like this for my sake welcomes me.

Then He took a little child and had him stand in the midst of them; then He took him in His arms, and said to them, "Whoever, as a disciple of mine, welcomes one little child like this, welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me, welcomes not merely me but Him who sent me."

But Jesus, as He knew that the controversy was going on in their hearts, took a little child and had it stand by His side. Then He said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child on my account is welcoming me, and whoever welcomes me is welcoming Him who sent me; for the one who is lowliest among you all is really great."

"Be careful not to look with scorn on a single one of these little children, for I tell you that in heaven their angels have uninterrupted access to my Father in heaven.

Just so it is not the will of my Father in heaven that a single one of these little ones be lost.
