16 Bible Verses about Christ Going Down

And they said, "Is not this Jesus, the Son of Joseph, Whose father and mother we know? How doth He now say, 'I have come down out of Heaven'?

And no one has ascended into Heaven, but He Who descended out of Heaven??he Son of Man [Who is in Heaven].

for the Bread of God is He Who cometh down out of Heaven, and giveth life to the world."

because I have come down from Heaven, not to do My Own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me.

He Who descended is Himself also the One Who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.

Now the word, "He ascended," what does it mean, but that He also descended into the lower parts of the earth?

and saying, "Thou Who destroyest the temple and buildest it in three days, save Thyself: if Thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross."

"Others He saved, Himself He cannot save! King of Israel is He! let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on Him!

save Thyself, coming down from the cross!"

Let the Christ, the King of Israel now come down from the cross, that we may see, and believe!" And those who were crucified with Him were reproaching Him.

And, when He came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.
