After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

But he said to him, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."

Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with him."
