And his disciples went and took up the body and buried it, and came and told Jesus. And when Jesus heard of it he departed thence in a ship to a solitary place by himself. And the multitudes hearing of it followed him on foot from the cities.
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, Why could we not cast it out?
And when he went into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could we not cast it out?
And as he sat on the Mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us when these things shall be; and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the consummation of the world?
And as he sat on the mount of Olives, opposite to the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, asked him privately,
And turning around to his disciples he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see what you see!
and I went up by a revelation, and proposed to them the gospel which I preach to the gentiles, but privately to persons of distinction, lest I should run or had run in vain.

And when you pray, be not like the hypocrites; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues, and at the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. I tell you truly, they have their reward. But when you pray enter into your private room, and having shut your door pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you.
And he immediately constrained the disciples to go into a ship and go before him to the other side, till he should dismiss the multitudes. And having dismissed the multitudes, he went on a mountain by himself to pray. And when it was evening he was there alone.
And he immediately constrained his disciples to go into the ship, and to go before him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the multitude; and having dismissed them, he went away to the mountain to pray.
THEN Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, Sit here, till I go and pray there.
And they came to a place which was called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, Sit here, till I pray.
AND going out, he went, according to his custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples followed him. And arriving at the place, he said to them, Pray that you may not enter into trial. And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and kneeling down, prayed,read more.
saying, Father, if thou wilt, take this cup away from me; but not my will, but thine be done.
AND in those days he went out on the mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to God.
