And, after six days, Jesus taketh with Him Peter, and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart;

And it came to pass, while they were conversing and reasoning together, that Jesus Himself, drawing near, was journeying with them;

And He went away with him; and a great multitude was following Him, and they were thronging Him.

And he said to Him, "Lord, I am ready to go with Thee, both to prison and to death."

Thomas, who is called Dydimus, said, therefore, to His fellow-disciples, "Let us also go, that we may die with Him."
