But if there is no resurrection from the dead, then not even Christ has been raised;
and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, and vain also is your faith.

If then, we are preaching Christ, that he rose from the dead, how are some of you saying that there is no resurrection from the dead?
because Christ also once for all suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but make alive in spirit.
