And they come to Jericho: and, as He was going forth from Jericho, with His disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. And, hearing that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, "Son of David! Jesus! have mercy on me!" And many were rebuking him, that he should be silent. But he kept crying much more, "Son of David! have mercy on me!"read more.
And, standing still, Jesus said, "Call him." And they call the blind man, saying to him, "Be of good cheer; arise, He is calling you!" And he, casting away his garment, springing up, came to Jesus. And Jesus, answering him, said, "What do you wish that I should do for you?" And the blind man said to Him, "Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." And Jesus said to him, "Go your way, your faith has healed you." And straightway he received sight, and was following Jesus in the way.
And it came to pass, when He was drawing near to Jericho, that a certain blind man was sitting by the wayside, begging. And, hearing a multitude passing along, he was inquiring what this might be. And they told him, that Jesus the Nazarene was passing by.read more.

And Jesus said to him, "Receive sight; your faith has made you whole." And instantly he received sight, and was following Him, glorifying God. And all the people, seeing it, gave praise to God.
