Therefore, take from him the talent, and give it to him that has the ten talents. For to every one that has, it shall be given, and he shall have abundance. But from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the darkness without. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

But he answered and said to one of them: Friend, I do you no in justice; did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what is yours, and go; I will give to this last even as to you. Is it not allowed me to do what I will with my own? Or, is your eye envious, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.
