I counsel you to buy of Me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be made manifest; and eye-salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see!

But every woman, praying or prophesying with her head unveiled, dishonors her head; for it is one and the same, as if she were shaven. For, if a woman is unveiled, let her also be shaven; but, if it is a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be veiled. let him know that he who converted a sinner from the error of his way, will save a soul from death, and cover a multitude of sins.
