if we are to-day examined concerning the good work done to the sick man, by what means he has been cured, be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazoraean, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him has this man stood before you sound.

For impure spirits came out of many who had them, crying with a loud voice; and many paralytics and lame persons were cured;

This man heard Paul speaking, who, looking steadily at him and seeing that he had faith to be cured, said with a loud voice, Stand up erect on your feet. And he leaped, and walked.

If your hand or foot offends you, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame, or crippled, than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.

And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she knew in herself that she was cured of the plague. And Jesus immediately knowing in himself that a power had gone out from him, turning round in the crowd said, Who touched my clothes?

And if your hand offends you, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into life crippled, than having two hands to go away into hell, into the inextinguishable fire.

But when you make a feast, invite the poor, crippled, lame, blind,

and make straight courses for your feet, that the lame may not be turned out of the way, but may rather be healed.
