His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems, and he hath a name written, which none knoweth but himself.

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels, thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands. Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. Now in putting all things in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him: but now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus crowned with glory and honour, for the suffering of death, who was made a little lower than the angels, that by the grace of God he might taste death for every man.

And if a man strive, he is not crowned, unless he strive lawfully.

And every one that contendeth, is temperate in all things: and they indeed, to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
