But his delight is only in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night.

The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun.

That which was mangled I did not bring to you; I bore the loss of it. You required it at my hand, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.

You shall not fear the terror by night; nor because of the arrow that flies by day;

The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

Therefore your gates will always be open; they will not be shut day nor night, to bring to you the wealth of the nations, and their kings may be led.

It shall not be put out night or day; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; none passes through it forever and forever.

And it will be one day which shall be known to Jehovah, neither day nor night; but it will happen that at evening time it shall be light.
