in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

and the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the generals, the rich and the mighty, both slaves and freemen, every one of them hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they began to say to the mountains and to the rocks. "Fall upon us and hide us From the face of him who is seated upon the throne, And from the wrath of the Lamb; For the Great Day of their wrath has come, And who is able to stand?"

In your hardness and impenitence of heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath on the Day of Wrath, when the righteous judgment of God is revealed.

"Then the signs of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and then all the tribes of the earth will lament, when they see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather his elect together from the four winds, from utmost heaven to utmost earth.

Then will they see the Son of man coming in clouds, with great power and glory. Then he will send forth the angels and gather his chosen from the four winds, from uttermost earth to uttermost sky.

Night will be no more. They will need no lamplight nor sunlight, Because the Lord God will give them light; And they will reign forever and ever.

Of this I am fully persuaded, that He who has begun a good work in you will go on completing it until the day of Jesus Christ.

"For this is my Fathers will, that every one who beholds the Son and believes on him, shall have eternal life. and I will raise him up at the last day."

Martha answered, "I know that he will rise in the resurrection, at the Last Day."

He will also keep you perfectly stedfast unto the end, so that you will be unreproveable in the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have fully believed, and I am thoroughly persuaded that he is able to keep what I have given him until the Day.

Henceforth there is laid up for me the garland of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that Day, and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

and will go forth to seduce the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to marshal them for war??heir number is like the sands of the sea. And they went up over the broad earth, and surrounded the encampment of the saints, and the beloved city. Then fire fell from the sky and consumed them;

You yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. While men are saying "Peace and safety," then, like birth-pangs upon a woman with child, destruction will come upon them suddenly. In no wise will they escape.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have been on his guard, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for in an hour when you do not expect him, the Son of man is coming.

"However, you know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have allowed his house to be broken into. "Do you also be ready, for in an hour that you think not the Son of man is coming."

But concerning that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven,

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief; and on that Day the heavens will vanish with a crash, the heavenly bodies will melt with fervent heat, and the earth and all its works will be burned up.

But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that "the Day" should come upon you like a bandit. For you are all sons of light, and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness. So then let us not be sleeping as do the rest, but let us be watchful and self-controlled.read more.
For those who are sleeping, sleep in the night, and those who are drunken, are drunken in the night. But let us who are of the day be self-controlled, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

Now since all things are in the process of dissolution, what kind of men ought you to be, in all holy living and piety; while you look for and hasten the coming of the Day of God. At its coming the heavens, being on fire, will be dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt with fervent heat.

so you also, when you see these signs, know that He is near, at the very doors.

So also do you, whenever you see these things happening, know that He is near, at your very door.

"So whenever you see all these things comings to pass, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

Let no one deceive you by any means. For it will not come until after the Great Apostasy, and the revealing of the Man of Sin, the son of perdition,

In the sky above I will show marvels, And signs in the earth beneath; Blood and fire, and vapor of smoke. Into darkness shall the sun be turned, And into blood the moon, Ere the day of the Lord come, that great and terrible day.

"and there shall be great earthquakes, and, in many places, famines and pestilences; and there shall be terror and great portents from heaven.

for then shall be a time of great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never shall be again.

For those will be days of suffering the like of which has never been from the beginning of God's creation until now, and never shall be.
