And LORD said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes [a man] dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, LORD?

He who planted the ear, shall he not hear? He who formed the eye, shall he not see?

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, LORD has made even both of them.

And behold, thou will be mute, and not able to speak until that day these things will come to pass, because thou did not believed my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.

Thou shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but thou shall fear thy God. I am LORD.

And when Jesus saw that a crowd was running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, Thou mute and deaf spirit, I command thee to come out of him, and enter into him no more.

And he commanded them that they should tell no man, but as much as he commanded them, so much the more abundantly they proclaimed it. And they were exceedingly astonished, saying, He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf to hear, and the mute to speak.

And when those who were around him saw what would be, they said, Lord, shall we strike with the sword? And a certain one of them struck the bondman of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. But having answered, Jesus said, Allow ye as far as this. And having touched his ear, he healed him.

To thee, O LORD, I will call. My rock, be not thou deaf to me, lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like those who go down into the pit.

But I, as a deaf man, hear not. And I am as a mute man who opens not his mouth.

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.

For this people's heart became fat, and their ears hear heavily, and their eyes are shut, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should turn, and I will heal them.

So that seeing they may see, and not perceive, and hearing they may hear, and not understand, lest they should turn, and the sins would be forgiven them.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

Hear, ye deaf, and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
