At evening when the sun had set, people came and brought to him all the sick and demon-possessed,

Then they came to the country of the Gadarenes, on the opposite side of the sea; and he had no sooner stepped out of the boat, than a man out of the tombs came to meet him, a man with an unclean spirit, who lived among the tombs.read more.
Not even with a chain could any man bind him, for he had been bound with fetters and chains again and again, and had snapped the chains, and broken the fetters; and there was no one strong enough to master him. And always, night and day, he remained among the tombs and in the mountains, shrieking and gashing himself with stones.

And at that very moment, there in their synagogue, a man in the grip of an unclean spirit shrieked out. "What business have you with us, you Jesus of Nazareth? Are you come to destroy us? So the unclean spirit, after tearing him, came out of him with a loud cry;

Then they brought to him a blind and deaf demoniac; and he healed him, so that the dumb both spoke and saw.

Behold, there came to him a Canaanite woman of those parts. She wailed loudly, saying. "Pity me, Lord, thou Son of David! My daughter is possessed of an evil spirit."

Satan however, entered into Judas (the man called Iscariot), who was one of the twelve.

And the man in whom the evil spirit was sprang on two of them, overpowered them and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of the house naked and wounded.
