But knowing their thoughts, he said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.

in order that there not be a division in the body, but the members would have the same concern for one another.

Confuse, O Lord; divide their speech, because I see violence and strife in the city.

But in giving this instruction I do not praise [you], because you come together not for the better but for the worse. For in the first place, [when you] come together as a church, I hear there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.

I am astonished that you are turning away so quickly from the one who called you by the grace of Christ to a different gospel, not that [there] is a different [gospel], except there are some who are disturbing you and wanting to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim a gospel to you contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let him be accursed!read more.
