9 Bible Verses about Divine Displeasure

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."

And the people complained in the hearing of the LORD about their misfortunes, and when the LORD heard it, his anger was kindled, and the fire of the LORD burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.

Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,

O God, you have rejected us, broken our defenses; you have been angry; oh, restore us.

Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.The LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.

"The LORD was very angry with your fathers.

And I am exceedingly angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little, they furthered the disaster.

But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.
