and praying, they said: Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all, make known which of these two thou hast chosen, that he may be appointed to this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. And they gave in their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias: and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

And in that day you shall ask nothing of me; verily, verily I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give you. Till this time you have asked for nothing in my name; ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

But when he, the Spirit of the truth, has come, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak of himself; but what he hears, that will he speak, and he will show you things to come. He will glorify me; for he will take of mine, and show it to you. All things that the Father has are mine; for this reason I said, that he will take of mine, and show it to you.
