And joining in prayer, they said, Do thou, O Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, point out the one of these two which thou hast chosen, to take a part in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, to go to his own place. And they drew lots for them and the lot fell to Matthias and he was by unanimous suffrage numbered with the eleven apostles.

And in that hour ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That whatsoever things ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give you. Hitherto ye have asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be complete.

But when he is come, the Spirit of truth, he will conduct you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever things he shall hear, he shall speak: and he will declare to you the things that shall come hereafter. He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore I said, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
