Compete to enter in by the narrow gate, because many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able.
Enter ye in by the narrow gate, because wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many are they who enter through it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted the way, that leads to life, and few are those who find it.
I am the door. If any man enters in by me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and will find pasture.

Let us be afraid therefore, lest, a promise being left behind to enter into his rest, any of you should seem to have come short.

He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
And every man who has forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, because of my name, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life.
but he will receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands--with persecutions--and in the coming age, eternal life.
who will, no, not receive back manifold more in this time, and in the coming age eternal life.
Because he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
