Hypocrite! first cast the beam out of thine own eye; and then wilt thou see clearly to take the mote out of thy brothers eye.

How canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me take out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself perceivest not the beam in thine own eye? Hypocrite! first cast the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to take out the mote that is in thy brothers eye.

And if thy right eye cause thee to offend, pluck it out, and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, than that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand cause thee to offend, cut it off, and cast it from thee; for it is better for thee that one of thy members should perish, than that thy whole body should go away into hell.

Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask for bread, will give him a stone? or, if he ask for a fish, will give him a serpent?
