And he said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day,

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye will seek me, and as I said to the Jews, Where I go, ye cannot come, I also now say to you.
Ye heard that I said to you, I go, and I come to you. If ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced because I said I go to the Father, because my Father is greater than I.
But now I go to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, Where do thou go?
A little while, and ye do not look at me. Again a little while, and ye will see me, because I go to the Father.
I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name that thou have given to me, so that they may be one, just as we.
