but if to live in flesh is my lot, this is for me worth the while: and what I shall choose I cannot tell.
For thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Then saith he to his disciples, The harvest is great and the workmen are few;
But I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, that I often proposed to come to you, (and have been hindered until the present time,) that I might have some fruit among you too, even as among the other nations also.
which are come to you, as they are in all the world, and are bearing fruit and growing, even as also among you, from the day ye heard them and knew indeed the grace of God, in truth:
so as to walk worthily of the Lord unto all well-pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing by the true knowledge of God;
And he said to them, The harvest indeed is great, but the workmen few; supplicate therefore the Lord of the harvest that he may send out workmen into his harvest.
What fruit therefore had ye then in the things of which ye are now ashamed? for the end of them is death.
But now, having got your freedom from sin, and having become bondmen to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life.
Not that I seek gift, but I seek fruit abounding to your account.
