What we do see is Jesus, who was made for a time a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor, because of the suffering of death, in order that through God's grace he might taste death for every man.
Jesus has been counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built a house has higher honor than the house itself.
For he did receive honor and glory from God the Father, when there was borne such a voice to him from the Majestic Glory, This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I delight;

"And he said to him, 'Well done, good slave! Because you have been faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.'
Let the elders who fill their offices well, be held worthy of twofold honor; especially those who have the task of preaching and teaching.
"Into whatever city or town you enter, inquire for some worthy person there, and stay with him until you leave.
"Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet, shall receive a prophet's reward; and whoever receives a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man's reward. "And whoever gives to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, because he is a disciple, I tell you in solemn truth, he shall not lose his reward.
I beg you to give her a Christian welcome, as the saints should; and to assist her in any matter in which she may have need of you. For she herself has been made an overseer to many people, including myself.
