This is the man of whom Scripture says--'Behold, I am myself sending my Messenger before thy face, And he shall prepare thy way before thee.'

For he will be given up to the Gentiles, mocked, insulted and spat upon; They will scourge him, and then put him to death; and on the third day he will rise again."
As soon, however, as you see Jerusalem surrounded by armed camps, then you may know that the hour of her desecration is at hand. Then those of you who are in Judea must take refuge in the mountains, those who are in Jerusalem must leave at once, and those who are in the country places must not go into it. Alas for the women that are with child, and for those that are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great suffering in the land, and anger against this people. Whilst I was with them, I kept them by that revelation, and I have guarded them; and not one of them has been lost, except that lost soul--in fulfillment of Scripture.
