And, even if the Good News that we bring is veiled, it is veiled only in the case of those who are on the path to Ruin--
To the latter we are an odor which arises from death and tells of Death; to the former an odor which arises from life and tells of Life. But who is equal to such a task?
But now, through your union with Christ Jesus, you who once were 'far off' have, by the shedding of the blood of the Christ, been brought 'near.'
He fails to maintain union with the Head, to whom it is due that the whole body, nourished and knit together by the contact and Keynesian of every part, grows with a divine growth.
And his will is this--that I should not lose one of all those whom he has given me, but should raise them up at the Last Day.
The Message of the Cross is indeed mere folly to those who are in the path to Ruin, but to us who are in the path of Salvation it is the very power of God.
he did not prevail; and there was no place left for them any longer in the heavens.
Or again, what woman who has ten silver coins, if she loses one of them, does not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?
For to me life is Christ, and death is gain.

So, too, it is the will of my Father who is in Heaven that not one of these lowly ones should be lost.
For we are the fragrance of Christ ascending to God--both among those who are in the path of Salvation and among those who are in the path to Ruin.
And, on reaching home, he calls his friends and his neighbors together, and says 'Come and rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.'
What think you? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them strays, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills, and go and search for the one that is straying?
Meanwhile Faith, Hope, and Love endure-these three, but the greatest of these is Love.
